Below are all of nicholas's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Hi,there is no such thing as a holographic tv service now or in the future, this refers to a new way
of recording video and audio.Still in the laboratory at present.Judging how dvds stop working, possibly
another way to waste yr money, matter of interest, sunbathing dvds sometimes makes them function,so
put them in window on sunny days.

Hi,in london there is a problem with reflected signals which vary every second and on analogue was
simply chronic, there are ways using two aerials but for non-technical difficult,i suggest satellite may be better, tks

Hi,are you receiving the right transmitter, mobile reception on weak signals sometimes makes the
set go offtune, espically sonys, poor quality circuity i'm afraid.

Hi,have a look around your neighbourhood for former band3 tv aerials,if you can get one, clean it up,new
cable,i recall picking up london itv in swindon in the 1960's,the double 6 would be good, try it on slope rather than vertical polarisation.

I'm sorry everybody, there is misinformation about this matter, this is DELIBERATE electronic noise added to
the video output of many devices to spoil the picture and try deter copying and also encourage you to
buy the HD version, you can see the effects on utube videos and noticeable particulary on football, where
a ghost outline follows the players. Its used in VHS videos for copyright purposes and basically its called
<expander noise>,from a diode connected to the power rails which provides noise,it is modified to suit
the purpose,<blocking> patterns are quite common,as stated, its a way to make you buy the HD version,no
more,no less. This is per my earlier post, secondly ,the freeview bandwidth isn't restricted, its a lie to make
you buy HD equipment.Its like

I'm sorry, brian ,but i'm right,if you look at the circuit diagram you will see a diode connected to the power
rail.through an inductance and capacitor and what ever else is required. On a lot of boxes, this arrangement
is muted on the radio section, also it could be built in the v-amplifier chips, but believe me its nothing to do
with the encoding arrangements. In vhs in order to comply with copyright issues, the quality of the picture
was restricted and this noise-called expander noise, makes a complete mess of rerecording the content
in order to stop further copying. Its possible to block the noise to make further recordings but i'm keeping
how its done secret .I have also found tv's have this circuit, why,it baffles me,including the wrap around sets,
the sd is degraded,i have a 18year tube set, cause i got sick of this nonsence.Hope youre better, sorry but this
is the truth, the reason is twofold,to spoil rerecording and make u buy HD versions.

Sorry,i didn't read the bit about motion blur, but this is noise, look at closely,it is ragged, blur is fixed, just believe
me,i do the electronic side,tks.

Hi,i've tried to give everybody the reason for ghosts around football players,if you can't accept the truth then do what
big business wants you to, just buy the HD equipment, then you wouldnt' have nasty ghosts following the
football players across your screen,tks

Hi,NO,no and no terrestrial tv should never be closed, sky and the like are greedy money grabbing operations.they should have their tails clipped,if needs be by force.
