Why are we not a full-service transmitter after all we are second biggest city in northern Ireland, maybe Derry is not large enough and Limavady is.

I though i had the same problem, but i have two TVs one is the Sony bravia working perfect on HD, the other a Samsung seris 5, the Samsung has no DVB-T2 hence no HD.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing with your TV and I understand this can be frustrating. Please be advised that unfortnuately your TV does not have the required built in tuner to pick up Freeview HD. Your TV has a DVB-T tuner which is a standard digital tuner, to recieve Freeview HD the TV would need a DVB-T2 tuner.
Although you need a DVB-T2 tuner to recieve Freeviw HD, you only require a DVB-T tuner to recieve Saorview HD due to the format it is broadcasted in, and this is why you are getting those. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused here.

When will DERRY get the full HD channels like Limavady, i cannot get the Limavady transmitter.
