Robert Dallenger: More than 1/2 our viewing is from the PVR [Sony] so I have noticed a lot of these blanks recently. If you rewind and play over the information is there. I assumed it was just our machine approaching capacity [again]. A really poor means of recording in my opinion; how do you 'lend' someone a 'tape' like the old days?
Our signal is by aerial, from Emley Moor or Bilsdale. We have no set top box or Sky.

I find this information utterly confusing. I need to manually retune my DVR because it prefers the Carlisle tower, rather than several nearer. Now that Really and ITV3 have moved. I have no idea where to. The old numeric list of MUXs doesn't seem to apply; so how do I find COM5 etc?

Panic over, I've found the numbers but perhaps they could have been a little clearer, as that's the essential information for retuning? Unless, of course, you are lucky enough to be able to use the auto setting and get 300 channels and gay rabbit shopping casino.
I am on the SW of York, my friend , to the East has to fight off tuning to Norwich, such are the idiosyncrasies of computer driven electronics.

Happy New Year to you too. Well said re; the changes: in preparation, the 1terabyte PVR is almost loaded to gunnels; we'll have to watch all that stuff then!
