Until Oct 24th 2012,Clermont Carn tx powers are restricted to much less than 160kw.
After that date'analogue switch off'SV1=ch52,

Is it possible to give us the details?above.
For example,i don't understand why viewers on the Channel islands will now be able to receive ITV 3,as this is broadcast on the SDN mux!

Briantist, this seems a very sensible measure, could this not be applied to other Tx's,such as eg Long Mountain,Skriag(which are also main Tx's)
You are giving the viewer more choice!
Particularly, where COM channels cannot be received from a more distant Tx.

Three Rock Saorview transmitter
Saturday 11 August 2012 2:27PM

It would be very interesting to have a full explanation of why Three Rock TV Transmitter was changed from Channel 54 to 30.
I understand that the S F N of both Kippure and Three Rock would make the signal more robust using the Irish standard.
Obviously,this was not the case!
