Olivers Mount (North Yorkshire, England) Full Freeview transmitFriday 16 August 2013 11:57AM
Scarborough
Hi,
I receive my TV from Scarborough (Olivers Mount) transmitter. All the MUX's are in the 700 MHZ section, C49 - C60. My question is will we receive the new HD channels, BBC4, BBC3 etc. We would seem to have enough capacity being that the following MUX's are free, 50,51,52,55,and 59, plus 56 is allocated to a local channel, I assume that more channels could go on that MUX. Thanks in advance.

There are already too many +1 channels, I also would like BBC Four in place of BBC Three so that more people can receive it in HD. Maybe consolidate CBBC and Cbeebies in to one channel to save a bit of money.

Well they got off to a good start, Selkirk done already (1 March 2017) and digitaluk say Q3 2019, http://www.digitaluk.co.u….jpg .
I realise they say by then, but 2 1/2 years early makes their map a waste of time.

Noticed that the local MUX Ch56 is live from Olivers Mount, Scarborough. No stations show up on it yet but the Quality is 100% and Signal strength is 68%.

Has anybody had this problem. On BBC RB1 the picture has a transparent overlay on top of the snooker match which contains lines of computer code, which are readable. I can get rid of it by turning off DATA services, when I do this this DATA "D" icon is no longer visible on the information banner. My TV is a Panasonic TX-40AS640E and I'm at YO12 7JU (Olivers Mount). I would insert a picture but it won't paste in to this message. I sent a message to the BBC a couple of days ago but haven't received a reply yet.

Mike Lewin: Just to let you know, I get the same thing. I sent a message to the BBC last week and have received no reply yet, I also sent a message to Panasonic a couple of days ago and have received no reply yet. The BBC are activating RED Button HbbTV services which soon, so it's probably related to that, do you have a "D" for DATA service in your information bar.
