FYI There are 4 people who have the same PVR and have the same problem and we are all receiving our signal from Black Hill. I am have not tried the solution you provided but I have done a firmware upgrade which is the equivalent of a factory reset and it rescans all the channels again since they do not exist.

FYI You are correct in general but for this major upgrade and the way it is done for this pvr it does return the machine to the factory settings.

Briantist. Apologies, I wasn't making myself clear. The upgrade is done by downloading from the pvr's website onto a usb stick and doing it manually. Its not an over the air upgrade.

I have just purchased a new HD PVR. I can get all of the HD Channels but for some strange reason I can't get ITV2 and STV+1 (I can hear them but the sound cuts out a lot but no picture). Strange is I can get STV and ITV2+1. I see that MUX 2 is down as low rating. Could this have something to do with it? I tried the HD PVR in on another TV in another room and it the issue with STV+1/ITV2 is still there. I have checked the signal strength of these two channels and they don't seem any less than channels that are ok.
