I hadn't realised the significance of "ready", but that does make sense.
I'm still wondering about my inability to receive any HD signals on the Avermedia USB stick though. That is definitely supposed to have HD tuner capability.
I've been able to pick up BBCHD, BBC1HD, ITV1HD, and Ch4HD on my freesat box for many months now, and was hoping that the long awaited freeview boost for Tacolneston was going to enable HD via that at last.

Are the HD channels on the PSB-3 Mux now running on Tacolneston ?
Until the switch on, I've been getting them via Freesat and a Fortec Star HD box.
I think most of my DVB-T kit doesn't have HD compatible tuners, but I thought I'd ask on here. My Sony Bravia "HD Ready" 40" TV has no mention of HD in it's tuning section in the manual, so am I right in suspecting that the tuner is SD only ? Would Sony have put an SD only tuner in an HD Ready TV ?
I'm pretty sure my old Sony PVR is not HD tuner compatible either, and also my PC twin tuner PCI card.
The one thing I am surprised about is the Avermedia DVB-T "HDTV" ready USB pen though. I thought that did have an HD tuner, but that also is missing all of the HD channels (50,51,52).
My aerial setup is pretty good, and ExtraGain on the chimney stack, which has given a strong signal even during the low power period.
So is the HD up and running please ?
(sorry for the long waffling post !).
