Transmitter faults are not being shown on TV help websites for any local transmitters including Bilsdale so nobody seems to know what is happening.

John Randall: Hello again. I found out that my transmitter is Belmont and this was listed as no faults. My problem turned out to be an amplifier that had been overloaded by the high-frequency waves generated by a huge flash of lightning. Removing it solved my problem. Good luck at your end.

I'm getting a "no-signal" message on DTV. Is there a transmission problem in my area? the aerial is on the roof and has worked fine since we went digital.

During a thunderstorm last night I lost all terrestrial TV signal and the problem still exists. I don't know which transmitter I am tuned to but the roof mounted aerial is pointing roughly South-East towards Hull. Is there a local transmitter problem or should I look closer to home? The aerial appears to be undamaged and doesn't seem to have moved.
