Canvey Island
Further to my question i live on Canvey Island essex ss8 7rn my outside arial is a new one and pointed to the Kent Signal as its stronger than the london one,. on my old Icecrypt the manual numbers were
46 43 40 45 39 54.
The Humax people gave me
23 26 25 22 and 28 (25 no channel come up )
hd 30 33 and 35 ( 33 and 35 no channels come up)
I bought the Humax fvp-5000t on the 14th of Jan this year, Just want to know if my unit is faulty as humax said i should get 25 33 and 35, Just wondered what are supposed to be on these Thanks again peter

i have a humax fvp-5000t, i live on canvey island essex ss8 7rn my arial is quite new and is on the roof, My unit was bought on the 14th Jan 2018 so its new, i asked for the manual channel numbers from Humax as the signal is stronger from Kent than London, iwas given these numbers
channel 23 26 25 22 and 28 (channel 25 nothing comes up)
hd channels 30 33 and 35 (channels 33 and 35 nothing comes up)
So is my unit faulty, and what should i be getting on the channles 25 33 and 35
on my old icecrypt the channels were
46 43 40 45 39 54 thats what i was given thanks for you help, It maybe the Transmitter does not use these missing channels and has humax given me the right ones in the first place ? Thanks again Peter

StevensOnln1: thank you for your help so i should be using the kent ones , would not mind but i did tell them so there is nothing wrong with the unit i , my arial is set up for the strongest signal Bluebell hill i remember that when i had a new arial put up for my icecrypt, and i believe i got the manual channels from this site.

peter rance: So now i have 40 43 and 46 are these the hd channels as humax said for hd channels i need to change the dvb to dbt2
and the other channles i take it are normal 45 39 54 32 and 34 (27 being low signal) Thank you again for all your help peter

Right got all the manual channels set up for the Kent bluebell hill , i live in essex ss8 7rn all channels work and record except bbc 4 tried to record a show earlier but when it had finished it came up as failed recording so what is the problem with bbc4 ? humax fvp-5000t2, what channel number is bbc4 on as doing a maual channel search if to many channels are found they dont all come up in the left box, Also can i put in both the london crystal palace manual channels and the bluebell hill or would that cause a conflict ?
Before i put just the bluebell manual channels in i did get a full working bbc4, does anyone know what the channel number is for crystal palace which has bbc4 on it. Thank you all for your help

I have a problem i have a humax fvp=5000t freeview, using the arial settings roof top to Blubell hill Trasmitter as the arial guy said it was the better signal instead of the London Crystal Palace transmitter, arial was put up about 4 years ago, i have someone elses arial which is faulty and in strong winds it leans on my arial, i think its made my arial move a bit, My problem is i now get a 1 or 2 second picture freeze on most channels,
I live on Canvey Island in Essex, post code is ss8 7rn . On checking your map and using predicted signal for ss8 7rn they all come up with the London Crystal palace Transmitter, Is This picture freeze due to faulty humax or is it down to not being lined to the right transmitter.Im due to get a new 4g tv so would i be better of getting a new Arial to replace my old one. Thank you

MikeB: hi Mike my tuner signal strength is 81%, and quality 100% Just so annoying withv it keep freezing for 1 or 2 seconds. would not advise anyone to get a Humax, their support is non existant

Hi,
I just bought a humax fvp-5000t, i live in Essex, Canvey island and was using the kent signal as its nearer to me. i got in touch with humax as i wanted to know what the manual settings was i was told to put these in
channels 22 23 25 26 and 28
and these for hd 30 33 and 35 using dvb-t2
But channel 25 and hd 33 and 35 all come up with no channels so i got in touch wiith humax and they said they should all work maybe the triple receivers are faulty? Any help on this would be helpful are there any programme channles on 25 33 and 35?
