I note that the signal strength gets a major boost at switchover.
Presently I have to use both a pre booster and an 8 way boster to each outlet.
If the new signal is so strong will I need to tone down (or even turn off) my boosters?

I'm fairy sure that I will need to remove one or both of my boosters come switchover. they are in place because the signal is interupted by a large bank of trees.
I have a pre-booster which feed a 12-way booster unit. That in turn feeds all the TV sockets of which 6 are in use.
I can take out the pre-booster but I can't take the 12 way booster out without replacing 12-way connectivity somehow.
Is the right answer to wait and see what the effect is and if necessary get a straightforward 12-way splitter?

Using my Humax HDR Fox T2 PVR I get a set of broken white lines across the top left hand side of the screen on ITV1 & ITV 1HD only. they don't appear using any other tuner.
Anyone know the cause?

Having some serious reception issues in NR20 tonight.
BBC 1, 2 & HD breaking up. Just about works if on the TV is on, but turn on the Humax HDR and messages appear that say that the channel is scrambled.

My father in law who lives in postcode CM3 has recently lost BBC1 & 2 (poss others) but is certainly getting ITV's etc on his two TV's & Humax PVR.
Two or three retunes have not resolved the problem.
Any clues anyone.

Further to my earlier two posts, the whole BBCA Mux is missing.
Could it be a problem requiring an initial set up re-tune to get rid of a legacy background signal from London which is pretty strong in this area?

Anyone know what's happened to Com5 ArqA from Tacolneston tonight. All the channels on this Mux report zero signal. All the other Muxes are fine

I live in NR20. Is it anticipated that any pre switchover tests of HD transmission will take place prior to November?
