Sandy Heath (Central Bedfordshire, England) Full Freeview transFriday 4 March 2011 10:58PM
Stansted
Hi. 7 year old Aerial. I think is a Televes 1044 wideband not Group A (one of the forks has fallen off). + 16dB on catalogue - Fixed on mast on gable end. Not keen of chimney fixings.
Masthead amp Televes 8127? stated as + 15dB
Two way power unit Televes 8203.
Question is whether I can just swing this round to Sandy Heath and then get all the freeview channels ( ITV etc.)
Problems with line of sight for Xtal Palace as there is a mass high trees circa 100m from the aerial AND a Police station relay mast at 75m in the same direction. Therefore even when XTal Palace switches over to full 200kW next year , will the line of site issues offset the increased power?
No obvious near obstructions facing toward Sandy Heath. Thanks again. RDD

Would I be better changing aerial direction to Sandy Heath after Digital switchover 13/04/2011? & would Xtal Palace after switchover 2012 be better reception than Sandy Heath 2012
Opinions please.
