Below are all of Pete Nadin's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.£12 billion to have BBC listings on SKY. What a total waste of licence fee payers money. How long has this fee been paid by the BBC ? I would pull all their services off SKY & put them on FreeSat, Freeview & Virgin Media only. Is there no end to Murdoch's greed.

PS: is there any chance of ITV 2 3 & 4 HD services coming to FreeSat, especially as ITV has quite a stake in FreeSat ? Sport on ITV4 SD looks terrible compared to BBC ONE HD and ITV HD.

Did you know that if you change your postcode in your Freesat box to a Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish one you can get the respective national BBC ONE and ITV services in HD ? Why aren't these HD versions in the guide anyway along with the SD versions on Freesat ?

Why is the FREEVIEW HD ITV region in WALES, ITV CENTRAL ? Is ITV local news actually in HD apart from ITV LONDON of course ?

RE : "There will be no changes to the transmissions other than the change of name (and graphics)" : Not quite Brian, the BBC have already announced closer links to BBC Radio 4 for BBC Radio 4 Extra, such as the new Ambridge Extra and old Desert Island discs appearing on this channel with themed sets of archive guests, but for the first time on this frequency. I just thought Radio Times might have mentioned this.
I also thought some capacity was to be freed up with the closure of the BBC Asian Network on this National multiplex, but this seems to have been delayed. I thought I'd heard somewhere that The Asian Network was moving to the Local Multiplexes alongside BBC Local Radio DAB.
