Did anyone else lose all signal on these from just before 1am till 1.25am on Sudbury?
SDN and ARQb WAS PUMPING.

When using the Sudbury transmitter on an aerial put up by professionals last spring I'm having screen freezes and pixelated lines on BBCA Ch 44.
D3+4 on Ch41 and even SDN on Ch 49 at reduced power have been good and clean pictures.
ArqB has been lost since it went to Ch 63 a while back.
But the thing that bothers me is why the BBCA mpx keeps breaking up.
Oh I have retuned my set top box numerous times.
Any sugestions?

Thank you Dave Lindsay for your prompt reply to my post. It is refreshing to find people are willing to help.
I've been a little while reading your link.
As I've done the first two suggestions already I'm left with the third possibility.
That my signal is too strong.
I am considering buying a new TV and getting rid of the set top box entirely.
If I buy a new TV are they configured so that the proposed signal strengths will be accommodated?
Any advise will be appreciated.

When SUDBURY completes it's changeover in mid 2012, will SDN and the two Arq mpxs increase their power to anything like the 100kW of the other mpxs?

After the storm a few nights ago I lost about half my freeview channels from the Sudbury transmitter. The aerial used to point north, now it points ENE and I manually retuned the tv to use the crystal palace transmitter for Ch 22 and 25 and get a fairly good reception from these multiplexes, although this transmitter is west of me. Obviously the aerial needs to be sorted, but in the mean time I have fairly good reception.
Just saying if anyone is in a similar position with their aerial that could be a work around

Hi just posting a reception report after the first SUDBURY transmitter changeover.
I'm near Tiptree with a huge historic building about 300 yards away in direct line of sight to the transmitter.
I did a full retune on my set top box today and all BBC stations have now gone from medium to very good quality strength on my box, including BBC4 which sometimes went to poor and lost the signal. It's a cheap box(less than £20).
When the full tune comes around with increased power in 2 weeks can I expect all the other channels to come through at the same strength?
