There are two leads from the dish coming in to the house but not long enough to get to the TV which is why I thought the box might be an option
Freeview reception seems ok but expected a little better from my new TV I guess - but I think that is down to the cable service at out last house compared to the freeview air service here ... and dont get me started on the internet!!!

Just moved into a house that has a dish installed - previous owners had sky service. Just bought a new TV with Freeview and Freesat built in - can I get a sky box and connect that to the TV and use the box as a receiver(?) for Freesat ?? Would freeview be better quality or is that only through the external aerial??
Sorry for the ignorance but just left an area with cable and moved to a non cable area ... not good!!!
