58 is definitely lower in strength and quality compared with the BBC and ITV channels so the aerial is clearly to blame.

Does a switchover in 2018 to DVB-T2 mean that existing non-hd freeview televisions, set-top boxes and recorders will become obsolete? This would not go down well with the public only 6 years after the completion of the digital switchover.

KMJ:I think a full switch to DVB-T2 would be politically unacceptable.Look at the furore over the plans to switch over to DAB radio.
Even a partial switch would involve losing a significant number of channels received currently and be unpopular.

The list of Freeview transmitter changes 2017-20 Upcoming Freeview transmitter changes 2017 to 2019 states that PSB1, 2, and 3 will remain on their current channels after next year. The table above indicates that they will move. Which is correct?

Will 5, 5* and 5USA be available on old Sky boxes without a viewing card as well as Freesat?
