A Parker: Most likely because your dish is slightly misaligned, if a standard Sky box press "services" 4 - 6 and check that both strength and quality is indicating the equivalent of 60% minimum.
If a Sky HD box: Press "Services" on your Sky remote control and you will see the main
menu with "Options" highlighted.
2:- Highlight the Settings menu using the right arrow button and press select.
3:- Use the left / right arrows scroll to "Signal" and press select.
4:- The grey bars displayed will show you the strength / quality of the signal.

Just about everything that 'Sony' seem to get hold of turns to stone it seems these days, whether it be Sony Ericsson and their parade of faulty mobile phones that I had the misfortune to buy, or whether it be the Sony Movie channels that have hijacked 'Movies for Men 2' on freesat. Channels you cannot receive without a Sky card which has to be paired to a digibox. It cannot be paired to any other receiver! Hardly freesat channels then are they! In the future I shall stay well clear of any piece of apparatus, or any movie, or anything anywhere that bears the logo of what I consider to be a nightmare company!

Why are your late night films continually repeated. Do you think in 2013 there maybe new films to watch as I'm sure it's a turn off when we see what's on,it is for me, otherwise a great channel

Why Service movies4men not listed on freeveiw on my set I can not tune them to appear anywhere

Barry Fox: It isn't available on Freeview.
It used to be available on a special multiplex from the Winter Hill transmitter serving the Manchester area, but is no longer so. The Freeview number above (51) probably relates to that former local service.

Interestingly enough, I get two movies4men channels via my Humax Freeview HD box right here in sunny Salford. It may be coming via Winter Hill but I'm not techy enough to know. The relevant channel numbers are 51 and 52. Hope you manage to access them, Barry, as they do occasionally get some very watchable films.

Yes it comes from winter hill but it is a very narrow low powered beam covering Manchester (as opposed to Greater Manchester). Picture quality is similar to VHS. Further info on the MB21 website.

Barry Fox, David Anderson, Anthony: I take back what I said; evidently Movies4Men is still available in the Manchester (and some surrounding) area.
