Please can you tell me what has happened to Movies4men as all I seem to get on all my Freeview Channels 201 to 205 is this channel will return soon. I have retuned my Freeview H D box but it is still the same I am on the Winter hill transmitter frequency. I really miss the fantastic films shown on Movies4Men

According to forum member 'speculator' on Digital Spy at Digital Spy Forums - View Single Post - Movies4Men all versions licensed for Freeview Sony Pictures have bought Dolphin TV who operate these channels. See Sony Pictures Television buys Dolphin Broadcasting to boost UK presence | Media | guardian.co.uk for more. The channels are still running on Sky. We can only speculate why they are off air on Manchester freeview- renegotiating carriage arrangements maybe?

Greebo: There's no mention of anything on their website - Movies4Men Discussion Forums - Powered by vBulletin .
I can't see any logic in Sony pulling the channels from the Manchester multiplex...

No I can't see why either, though there is always the chance that there is someone sat at a desk in London/NY/Tokyo who doesn't like the idea of paying money to broadcast programming only towards Greater Manchester, I suspect Hanlon's razor probably applies. (Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity).
