Thanks Briantist.
Apart from the HD channels, any others to arrive? Could you point me in the direction of the details that Film4 was going to be added? Thanks in advance.

I had the message on channel 15 that film 4 is moving and if I could still see the picture I should retune. I therefore retuned both upstairs tv's which was successful(although film 4+1 indicated no video!) I then retuned downstairs TV and Channel 15 is missing completely and 4+1 no signal) What the hell is going on? I've now retuned my downstairs TV twice and channel 15 is no longer annunciated i.e. listing goes from 14-16. How come upstairs is OK? ALL TV's supplied from antennae,?

Trevor Gordon: Film4+1 has no video at present because the capacity is still being used by the 'old' Film4 - the one with the message overlayed.
The 'new' Film4 is carried on PSB2 multiplex (which carries ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and others). The old Film4 slot will carry Film4+1.
There is a transitional period where Film4 is broadcast in its old slot with message overlayed and in its new spot without the message overlayed.
Which transmitter are you using? "Perhaps" COM6 (the old Film4 multiplex) is picked up before the new one - this depending on the frequencies used by your transmitter.
I have no idea whether it might work, but I would try tuning in the multiplexes in order, or at least PSB2 than COM6.
If your set has manual tuning then knowledge of the transmitter may allow more definitive guidance on achieving this.

After 3 attempts my downstairs TV has now found Film 4 on Channel 15 but I notice Film 4+1 0n channel 45 still has no signal? It seems to me that the powers that be that requested us to retune earlier in the day were somewhat premature? Why didn't they wait till they were completely ready before advising us to retune? We are not all "Au Fait " with the technicalities of all this and can easily be confused!!!!

Further to previous-it seems to me that most TV's "auto update" any changes so why did film 4 encourage us to update and retune obviously before they were actually ready? Sorry but it doesn't make sense to me!!!! I am at Heathrow with 100% perfect TV signals from aerials (Loft aerial supplying 2 upstairs TV's and roof aerial supplying downstairs TV.) Strange that upstairs found channel 15 immediately but downstairs just didn't want to know until 3rd. attempt.????? ALL TV's SONY.
