Now that we know you are using a communal aerial. it is likely that it needs adjusting for the new channels in use. Only your management organisation can do that so please contact them.

I live in Warlingham (NE Surrey), receiving Freeview signals from Crystal Palace, I believe. After the recent channel changes, I have noticed that I cannot receive some Freeview channels any more: this includes channel 106 (BBC4 HD), and channel 108 (Al Jazeera HD) has disappeared too. I have retuned both my TV and two Blu-Ray recorders that I use, and there is still no sign of these channels. Can anyone help, please ?

Bob A.: You most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the higher frequencies now used for COM7 & COM8 at Crystal Palace. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Further to that said by StevensOnln1, I can confirm that will have a Group A aerail which is no longer suitable for use with the Crystal Palace transmissions since the recent changes. You need to have a wideband aerial fitting in place of the old one. Yopu can access the website given by StsvensOnln1 or ring 0808 100 0288 and talk about having your old Group A aerail replaced free of charge.

Where o where has BBC channel 4HD gone. After intermittent reception over the last month the menu now jumps from 105 to 107. I have tried all the usual steps but to no avail. Will someone please help me.

David Harris: Do you mean BBC Four HD or Channel 4 HD? Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see the predcited coverage at your location.

David Hill: BBC Four HD is carried on the COM8 multiplex which is not broadcast from Kilvey Hill. No plans have been announced for any increase in coverage for BBC Four HD.

I live on Hayling Island and all of a sudden BBC 4 HD has disappeared. It used to appear on channel 106 from the Rowridge transmitter. It looks like there was a re-organisation of some of the channels in the last week and BBC 4 HD is now on Com 8 broadcasting at only 18KW. I have also seen some chat suggesting a change of Arial is needed to get these channels.
Will I ever be able to watch the BBC's most upmarket channel in HD again?
Many thanks,
