I have in Portugal a 84cm satellite dish and would like to be able to watch the BBC and ITV FTA channels

When I lived in Cascais it was possible to receive all these services, but it took a 1.2m dish, because these services are on the Astra 2D satellite that points at the UK.

You can either use a second-hand (or indeed new) Sky box to get these services using the familiar channel numbers and interactive services.

If you don't want to use a Sky box, but a generic one, you can find the frequencies to tune to at:
