Why can I not watch Scottish Premier League matches on BBC ONE Scotland on satel
Because the SPL has made separate (and quite legal) arrangements for the sale and transmission of live football matches outside Scotland, it has objected to BBC ONE Scotland showing these matches via digital satellite as they could now be viewed throughout the UK.
I agree that it seems to me that the audience for SPL football is mainly within Scotland, and it makes no sense at all to restrict this to people who live near a earth-based transmitter in such a hilly country.
Perhaps you could contact the SPL and let them know your situation, because to me your argument is quite convincing.
