hello people only to say, YOU can use a small disk like 45cm to see all channel of course you don`t need to have BIG disk .. i use 45 cm disk and Tivu Sat decoder receiver to see all free channel from italy ....sometimes they ask you to put 60 or 90 cm dick because they only want to make more money ....

Hi, I have a tivusat box receiving italian channels. Recently the napoli mia channel changed frequency which we were pre warned about so I noted down the new frequency number, polarity etc. After the change date the channel went black with the banner still showing 'napoli mia', so firstly I did a channel search to update the channels thinking that would work but it didn't, secondly I manually imputed the info into the search box,after completion and storing the screen still remain blank hence still no Napoli Mia. Not sure if this is the right way to get the channel back I would be greatfull if somebody could advise me on the correct procedure. Thanks in advance.

Napoli Mia has changed to DVB-S2 8PSK mode on 11785MHz, horizontal, 29900, 3/4.
I don't have a tivusat box, but assume you should be able to set these parameters in your tivusat box. Make sure you can enter DVB-S2 and 8PSK in manual channel setup mode. Check the installation guide and keep trying!

Tina, see earlier posts here dealing with this question. Any standard satellite
box and dish will receive Italian broadcasts from Hotbird at 13E. However, some
primetime programmes on RAI etc will be blocked. To receive all free-to-view programmes you need a tivu box registered to a bona-fide address in Italy with the codice civil. Sky Italia is a separate subscription service.

As far as I know the satellite broadcast footprint does not cover Ethiopia. The chance of getting RAI via satellite is nil - unless someone can persuade them to add transmissions to a satllite that does provide a footprint over Ethiopia, fairly unlikely due to commercial considerations being unviable.

Hi, I really need advice. I have recently purchased a second receiver, a Techmate 5200, to get italian freeview tv. Everything is working properly but I can't get any mediaset channels. The other lnb is connected to my panasonic freesat TV which receives all free italian TV. Can anyone tell me where I've gone wrong? I'd appreciate any advice
