manni: Is whatever you are tuning (e.g. a set-top box or TV) connected directly to the aerial, i.e. the aerial doesn't go via another box?
If it's not, then connect it directly to the aerial and try again.

Hi Dave,
Apologies for slow response.
There doesn't seem to be any static and the fuzzy noise is intermittent eg on for 2 seconds, then off for 2 seconds. The aerial lead is plugged into the back of the tv but I haven't connected a set-top box because with screen being blank I wouldn't be able to install it. It's a Panasonic Quintix, not sure of the model number but I do think it's fairly old.
Many Thanks
Adele

Does anyone on this site know whether Tacolneston is transmitting Skysports and if so, whether it reaches Lowestoft (NR33) please?
I am thinking about subscribing to the BT Vision TV service so that I can get SKY Sports cheaply (via my digital aerial). BT THINK I can receive it but their postcode checker says not...thought I'd ask the community
Thanks! (NR33 pl)

Mark Cameron: If you can receive directly from Tacolneston, then you should be able to pick up the multiplex that carries Sky Sports.
See the list of Freeview channels here:
DTG :: DTT Services by Multiplex
You will see that Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 are carried on COM6 multiplex, Arqiva B. If you can receive Yesterday, Film4 or any other service on that multiplex, then you can get Sky Sports because it's all carried on the same signal.

Hi,
Is anyone else having any issues with Freeview HD on Tacolneston tonight (10-1-2012, 9.40pm)?
I cannot receive BBC 1 HD, BBC HD, ITV 1 HD or CH4 HD - all the standard-def equivalents of these channels are working absolutely fine.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Matthew

Hi Guys/Gals,
Started receiving freeview after changeover but missing c42 mux sdn. upgraded to wideband aerial today and pulled in c42 as expected but (as was the case with old aerial) receive mux on c41? both aerials were aligned to tacolneston on a bearing of 258 SO where's it coming from? box seems to assign channels to 800 range as duplicates.
Aerial is in loft with pre amp
