It all depends on what the commercial broadcasters decide to do. In most cases there just are not enough potential viewers for them to see any profit to be made by covering some unserved areas. It is a purely commercial decision for them to make.

Having a lot of Phone calls today about the HD channels (BBC B) and ITV Channels (D3+4) on this Transmitter (Rhymney) the Channels are still being transmitted but are heavily corrupted.
(Looking at the spectrum centered at 721 MHz 200 MHz Span)
BBC A 626 MHz is OK at the Moment

Hi again Chris,
After a couple more phone calls I ran a couple of tests to see if it is "Brand Specific" or not.
Tried a Samsung 55 inch HDTV and a Humax Freeview HD Box.
Same results on both!!
Will have to wait for completion of maintenance.
Very many thanks.
