When is the Ballachulish transmitter going to be upgraded so we get all the freeview channels? If this isn't going to happen then should we not be entitled to a reduced licence fee?

Carolyn: The commercial operators do not wish to transmit from this transmitter, so there will be no channels.
The TV Licence pays for the BBC services only and you have all of these.

John Hobbs: According to the post above yours, there is engineering work taking place. Do not attempt to retune, your channels will return when the work is finished.

Hello we live in Ballachulish and myself and my neighbor have had no free view channels all day. We have internet, I have gone through everything with BT and still nothing. Please can you check if their is a shortage, as it's strange we both have no tv? We have separate arials.

Catherine: The Ballachulish relay (and also Kinlochleven relay) get their signal from the Onich transmitter. Yesterday, Onich had a major engineering refit and so was off-air to allow the engineers to safely work on the antennas.
If you still have no signal today, then that suggests you retuned while the transmitters were off, and so your TVs will have lost their settings. Another retune now that the services are back on should sort it out.
