ever since the changeover in May BBC C49 seems to come and go at will, when we do receive C49 its full signal and very good quality, turn over to ITV or any channel and back again BBC go's. The Aerial, cable, and fittings are all new as is the T.V. Done everything retuned with Aerial out then back in,manual tune, but the problem still persists .
All the other channels are OK it's only C49 that's the

colin Robertson: Mux channel 49 / 698.0Mhz refers to COM6 on the Angus transmitter, and if you have previously received this channel OK then there is no reason why you should not be able to now.
Although you haven't actually mentioned as to whether or not you have carried out an auto-tune since the problem occurred, but if you have and it has not made any difference, go into your TV or boxes tuning menu and select "manual" tune followed by entering (or selecting) C49 but "not" followed by pressing search or scan, as on most (but not all) devices the signal level of the channel selected will be indicated no matter how low it may be.
The reason for this test is to determine or not, if your problem is simply being caused by the signal level received from COM6 being a fraction under that necessary for the tuner to lock onto, because should this apply, the channel will just be bypassed during an auto-tune.
