how many channels in total can be recieved from the twechar transmitter for freeview
some of the channels in Twechar off the blackhill transmitter are breaking up due to big trees to near the house

James Nelson.Hard to say without a full postcode,but the answer to your first paragraph is 39 channels in total if you do have HD equipment,or 35 channels in total if you have non-HD equipment.
In reply to your second paragraph which channels you stated and importantly which multiplexes that break up (pixellate,etc) due to the big trees near to your abode.Is your aerial horizontally polarised and if so is it a group B aerial (tipped yellow).Check also for any wear and tear on your aerial cable and your aerial plug at the same time.

James Nelson.What i forgot to add is that the Twechar relay or lite transmitter only broadcasts the public service multiplexes BBCA,D3+4 and BBCB (HD).The latter you will only receive with HD equipment,not HD ready TV's as such.Also the Twechar relay is a group A relay polarised vertically and is a 2w powered mast.
