I am trying to find out which mux is on which channel at Tacolneston, after today's changes (6th June). The main table above appears not to have been updated (at the time of writing) and the 'how will frequencies change over time' chart is evidently wrong, for example it says that ch42 is BBCB which it isn't here (it also gives the date of the changes as 31st March)! Any suggestions for where to look?

Richard Russell: According to Digital UK, Tacolneston now uses the following UHF channels:
40/43/46 (PSB1-3) 42/45/39 (COM4-6) 55/56 (COM7-8) and 57 (local mux due to move to 32 on 17th July)

6.6.18, 4:35 pm: I have a Panasonic Viera TXL323E30B. The areal is on the roof. When i switched it on this afternoon I got a message saying that this receiver is not receiving a signal or the signal is too weak l. I live in Norwich, NR3 3HG. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks. Bryan Lorriman

Bryan Lorriman: As per other posts above, Tacolneston changed frequencies overnight so you will need to retune.

Jocelyn : You need to retune from your TV or box's menu (see the manual or post the make and model if you don't know how).

I checked and the multiplexes are now on the channels as Stevens says above .
To retune on a relatively modern box or tv you usually just need to go into "settings" and click something like "automatic scan of channels" . DON.T click "add new channels". Some boxes and tvs need a more complicated channel reset BEFORE doing the scan. Some methods of doing this are explained via links lower down this page.
re accuracy of this site . The multiplexes are broadly listed correctly "but not necessarily in the right order " as a famous tv sketch said. The point is that the site covers all transmitters and so it must be hard to keep up to date . Especially as there have been several changes in the last couple of years from the original government plan.

Just tried resetting - twice - to receive the Tacolneston signal from North East Suffolk.. Now receiving (intermittently, and with massive interference) BBC North West. How do these people hang on to their jobs?

Gareth . I think you should get a good signal in north east Suffolk (Bury ?)
Possibly you are tuning into the wrong transmitter.

Depending exactly where you are the strongest signal could be from Tacolneston , Sudbury or Sandy heath .
I would recommend using "tv coverage checker" (see previous posts on this) with your post code to find the best transmitter .
