I have been receiving reduced power/nil signals from Peterchurch transmitter for over a week, but no work to the transmitter is noted on this site. Tried retuning twice. More channels listed and all briefly available, but the extra channels soon permanently reverted to 'No Signal' status and the usual channels still at reduced or no signal.

My address code is HR2 0SJ and wish to report there has been no Peterchurch transmission signals for many hours today 02/01/22. The reception ceased abruptly and a 'No signal' notice displayed onscreen. I see according to this web site that there are no reported problems !

The transmitter updates that appear here depend on updates to a BBC Engineering page which has had no update since New Years Eve, I would imagine due to the Bank Holiday etc..
However the BBC's individual transmitter page does show the BBC reporting a fault -
The transmitter was off-air from 7:49:03pm to 10:28:26pm on 2nd Jan 2022 due to a fault.
Your signals should be back now. IF you retuned when you had no signal (which is never a good idea) it will have most likely just cleared your correct tuning and you'll need to retune again to get your correct tuning back.

Why am I no longer receiving HD transmissions. Retuning excluded listing all HD channels and a few others too.

Edward John Gooding: What was the reason for retuning? All it does is delete your currently tuned channels and searches for them again, so unless there are any new channels to be found or any have moved you won't gain anything by doing it and as you've experience you will loose channels if there isn't enough signal at the time of retuning.
As there are no reported faults for the Peterchurch transmitter, I'd start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV which is a common cause of weak signals. If you provide a full postcode we can check your predicted signal strength and whether you might be better off using a different transmitter, as the Peterchurch relay only covers a very small area.

The Peterchurch transmitter aka Vowchurch is not showing any reported faults at this time.
Try a manual retune on UHF Channel C47.
Post back if you are still having problems.
If your set does automatic retuning when it finds No signal, go into Settings and turn that function OFF, it is more trouble than it's worth.
