Yes Dave but it is the Mux A on ch22 I'm talking about and it is that which is going to program number 1 possition.
Ok here we have disscussed this and how to avoid it happening in great detail but I guess Joe Public will be stuck with Lincoln News and not his Leeds, Yorkshire local news because of this in my view excessive power of Belmont and the Freeview box/TV set limitations in design.

Hopefully the problem should sort itself out on the 21st (assuming Emley Moor gets the promised signal boost?)... fingers crossed!
I think there's going to be a lot of confused people this evening - my Dad has already phoned me to ask what he's supposed to do.

I was echoing Peter Leadill's comment that the list at the top of this page showing the frequency of Mux A should now be C52 and not C43-.

I'm still a little confused. The retune went fine but the HD channels are now breaking up quite badly with no evidence of the increased power output from the tower. Is there still work going on regarding the HD? Also could someone clarify that the HD switch to CH41 happens on the 21st or between the 7th and the 21st. Many Thanks.

James, the HD mux is still on C39 and according to the leaflet published by DigitalUK will not move until 21st:

It can't occupy C41 now because it is currently being used for Channel 4 analogue. (DN31NJ)

i had all channels last night(albeit 90% of them had no signal)
ive done the full factory reset this morning, and ive lost half my channels, i have no itv1,ch4,ch5, none of my hd channels, ive tried it about 10 times and still only get about 53 channels, will i get the full set of channels on the 21st? or is there anything i can do now to get them back?

ok for all bbc channels after retune this morning via my new sharp tv ( no freeview box) but no itv or channel 4...should i still be able to get them via analogue???? |Should i just wait for a fine day when the tuning signal is strong enough ????

rosie: ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are still available on analogue for two weeks.
From what you say, I think that you should probably get these other channels on digital (Freeview) in two weeks' time.
