I cannot get HD programs and programs on CH25 and CH27 break up when its raining or foggy, I can see the transmitter from my house, when will the transmitter be updated?

Tony Rodwell: Brightstone only serves 800 homes so it wouldn't be viable for commercial broadcasters such as UKTV who operate Dave, Really, Yesterday etc to broadcast from transmitters with such small coverage.

my manhattan free view box says no signal from about 9.pm 24th december it says date is thurs. jan. 00:00 tried to reset to factory defaults but i need to find pin no. any suggestions Ian.

Ian Morton: Resetting or retuning is the worst thing to do if you suddenly loose signal as all you are doing is deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again, which will never fix a sudden loss of signal and often makes things worse as you will have no idea when the fault is fixed. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and Manhattan box? I see there are some recent engineering notices for the Brighstone transmitter which you have posted under, this is unlikely to be planned engineering work over the Christmas period so it's possible that there may still be a transmitter fault.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
