Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Thanet (Kent, England) mast?
UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Just been reading about a historic problem where some sets hadn't correctly updated for the GMT/BST time changes and this affected reception of stations. One of the sets was a Roberts Gemini CRD26 with firmware 1.31.1.9-1 I
I assume later firmware fixes the issue.
But that doesn't mean that other makes of set or models don't have the same problem (similar chipsets/firmware). Apart from hassling the manufacturer if it's a more recent set, there are two possible "fixes" depending on the set.
Unplug it from the mains for more than 10 seconds - and not running on any battery (backup) presumably.
Tune to an FM station (if the set has FM) that doesn't have a DAB equivalent if the set auto-switches to DAB if it's a better signal!
Nothing like making it easy!

Login - Support by AQIPA seems to be a totally different issue, but interesting that the so-called "rolls royce" of sets aren't bug free!
