UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. petronella griffith: The transmitter will usually be back on by early evening, however a completion time isn't generally announced as the time needed to complete the work can vary depending on weather conditions and any unforeseen complications once the work has started. Do not attempt to retune.
