This transmitter has no current reported problems
The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Llandecwyn (Gwynedd, Wales) transmitter.UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

The date is 9/3/2015 and you have no reported problems on your transmitter but I and my neighbour have no signal on our TVs.
Can you help please?

Patricia Cook: In such situations it is often a useful clue to try and find out if there is a power outage to the transmission site. The power network operators for some areas, including this one, have look-ups on their websites -- just enter the postcode of the transmitter which is given by this site on the Llandecwyn Freeview page as LL47 6YT.
The look-up page for the local power distributor is:
Postcode Lookup - SP Energy Networks
I've just put that postcode in and got the following response: "Fault Completed -- There was a planned outage in your area which is now complete."
I guess that if you'd done this earlier you'd have found that there was a fault and this would seem to be the reason that the transmitter was off air.

David Williams:
Is this occurring on different radio stations? If so, it's likely to be some form of local interference. If it's about 1 click every two/three seconds or so, it could be an electric fence unit if you are in a rural location.

David Williams: not an electric fence I'm in the middle of Porthmadog, clicks are fairly random
