Ian Carter: Talk Radio is broadcast using DAB+ (it switched over from original DAB a few weeks ago) on the SDL National multiplex, which is not predicted to be available at your postcode. Talk Sport is broadcast in original DAB on the D1 National multiplex, which has much wider coverage.

BBC DAB radio reception keeps dropping in Hastings this afternoon. Is it transmitter fault?

Since the beginning of the year 2023 the DAB single keeps cutting out particularly when in my car. Previously the single had been fine.
Is there any reason

Eamonn: Which stations are you listening to when this happens? Does it always cut out in the same location or or does it happen in different places where the signal was OK before?

Hello Steve it seems to be happening all over but mostly towards the coastal roads into Bexhill.. I listen to LBC and that was breaking up and then showing that no signal was available. I changed to other channels including BBC with the same result. As I said this has only seemed to have started since the beginning of the year and appears to be becoming a little more widespread
