UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Is there some engineering works on the Ventnor analogue radio transmitter today 01/10/11? I don't seem to be able to receive any BBC channels.

I am experiencing poor radio reception, especially with BBC Radio 3. Any comments would be helpful.
Thanks,
Bruce.

after trawling through the websites I came across the TELEVISION AND RADIO INVESTIGATION SERVICE-who have that the transmitter is off from 07.01am but could not tell me anything else-"it must be maintenance" they said and when I asked why if thats so there was no prior warning-they were unable to help-or say why if or when it would be sorted-very frustrating-was looking forward to the cricket !
