No, the satellite footprints are focused on Europe, and cannot be received in Ghana, I'm afraid.

albert fynn: No, you can't use them in Ghana. The signals do not reach there, and is a UK service.

You can use the Freeview box to receive local in some places, see http://www.dh-tv.com/Product/Ghana.htm .

Please i have bought a lcd tv(matsui)but i do only get 2 thus BBC News and DAYSTAR TV.So i want to ask that if i buy a DSTV and connect it would it work i mean acquire more channels.For the 2 channels that am having now i have connected it to an ordinary .
I my question would be given a favourable consideration.

I couldnt decide whether to buy TV in ghana(although more expensive than UK) or go through the hassle of taking my TV to Ghana.
can you please advise whether TVs are more expensive in Ghana(double the price so i heard).

I have bought an lg 42" LED (LG 42LV355U) and Samsung 40 LED (UE40C6510). Both have DVB tuners and have . I just want to know if the tv will work in ghana. Cos I understand UK is Pal I and ghana is Pal B/G. thanks
