Have taken unit out of storage to use with small CRT set in spare bedroom. When connected I get channel info on screen, but up/down arrows don't work - either on this or menu. Green 'lock' light is on, so if unit is locked, how do I access 'unlock' screen to enter code ?

Snapper35- Read the following from a forum; apparently this works:
(a) press "Standby" button on the remote control, then unplug the power cord (within 2 sec.) of the set top box IMMEDIATELY;
(b) After 3 sec. plug in the power cord to the STB again;
(c) Repeat step (a) & (b) until the STB enter the "First Time Installation" screen. Then the box will proceed channel search again.

I have the durabrand cg5660-m I had a power cut yesterday & it seems to have locked itself I can't find the menu option to unlock it please help!!! When I try to retune all I get is No channels found, please check antenna.I would appreciate any help or a customer service number for durabrand to fix this issue.

nick: Have you tried entering the default code of 0000 then pressing OK.
Another "reported" (unable to verify!) cure is to hold the power button in whilst removing the rear power lead - wait a few seconds then re-insert it whilst still holding the power button in, if this works it should return to the first time set up mode. (more than one attempt may be necessary!)
I personally feel though that its more the case of the device being un-powered that is effecting a cure rather than anything involving the power button, but that's what has been reported.

Hello,
I have a problem with my DURABRAND (CG5660-M), I was trying to update the channels automatically , but the receiver stop working. The screen is giving the name of the receiver and does not respond to anything, I can't turn it off or bring anything into the screen. Hoe can I fix it or reset it. Thank you.

LutonFan's solution works. I've just done it myself but NOTE it is the red power/standby button on the REMOTE that you must press NOT the power button on the box.
