How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox?
Press the [SERVICES] button and then press [4] [0] [1] then [SELECT]
Then press [4] to go to the RF output menu.
You can now change the value so that it does not clash with an analogue TV channel or a Freeview multiplex.
HD and "new EPG" boxes
If you have a HD box, press [SERVICES] button and then press [0] [0] [1] then [SELECT]. Nothing is shown on the TV screen until you press the Select button. Then use the [RIGHT] arrow button on the remote until this screen is shown, and press SELECT to change the values:

Hi, i was wondering if you can help. I had a magic eye fitted on my very old sky+ box and for years it has worked in two seperate rooms. Yesterday I had my sky box replaced to a Sky HD box. We can now get a very grainy picture in the other two rooms where we have analogue tv's. Will we need to replace the other tvs with digital models?

M Flynn: No.
Have you set the RF out channel on the new Sky box to the same as that on the old one?

Hi i was wondering if you could help. I had a sky+ box for the last year and used a magic eye. Recently I got a Sky HD box and now my TV in the bedroom isn't receiving Sky. It worked before with no problems at all but now nothing. I've done the set up (i.e pressing 0,0,1 then 4 etc) but no picture comes up

G: The procedure used to access the installer menu on a Sky+HD box is different from that used on a Sky+ box, insomuch that you press "services" then use the right arrow to navigate away from "Options" to
"Settings" which on pressing same "Picture" should be highlighted, follow this by pressing: "0 - 1 - Select" and the "Set up" tab should be highlighted, you then use the right arrow button to scroll along the list until you see "RF out", pressing on bringing up the menu indicating channel and power out settings.

Hi.
I just swapped out my old 19 LG lcd with am older 37 Toshiba lcd (bith HD). The Toshiba is connected via the same magic eye, but the sky picture is ghosting badly. I've tried changing the RF channel but still no luck. It was fine before I swapped it, so slightly at a loss now!.

Dave: Are you sure that the jumper lead being used (if) is in perfect condition? try wiggling the connectors at each end of the lead about whilst viewing the picture, as the Toshiba's analogue picture should not be that terribly different from that obtained on the LG.
Try temporarily connecting the coax cable from the Sky box directly into the TV whereby bypassing the magic eye.

I have a poor signal on my second tv which is fed via the sky rf out on the main tv in another room and needs to work via the magic eye .
The cable also is going through an amp with the 9v pass ,the magic eyes have a green light on and lit.The distance covered is around 20M the cable is ct 100
the picture is visible but breaks up.

Rob: Is the booster in the coax cable from the Sky box leading to the second TV located immediately after the Sky box? which of course it should be!
The other point being, when you find that the picture on the second TV is breaking, does this clear up if you temporarily connect said set directly into the Sky boxes RF2?

Hi
I have just updated my sky hd box to the one with built in wifi. It has no rf out port on, so i purchased the io link from sky to enable me to continue receiving the picture in my bedroom, via a magic eye. I am getting the red light on magic eye, and digital channels via aerial in on my io link, but no sky picture. My second tv is a sony bravia. Tried everything, please help!
