How can I get Channel 5 on Sky in Ireland?

You can watch Channel 5 (plus 5USA, 5* and the +1s) by manually adding the channel, as it is broadcast free-to-air.

Use the following settings:

Frequency: ~~10773~~ 10964
Polarisation: Horizontal
Symbol rate (Mbaud): 22.0
FEC: 5/6

I have old Belfast free sat yellow house
I can't receive fiver or five usa it says "this program is not available" & "to view this you need a new card" so will your reset work ? Or will I need a new card?

Dave: If it says "to view this you need a new " then you probably will. It only provides access to Fiver, Five USA and Sky3.

how do i tune FIVE in2 my hd box i tried following the instructions above but it keeps saying y is this happening does it make a difference that im in the rep of eire, i think it seems strange since my sister has it on a digi box and no sky

I have entered the frequencies for channel 5 in a HD box 10773 H 22000 5/6 and when you try to view in other channels, it says insert viewing , this is the newer version of Sky HD box, this worked fine on old Sky and also old version of HD box, has something changed.
