Rob: You should have ALL the BBC channels when you switch your set to "digital mode" and retune. They are being broadcast on the old ITV1 analogue frequency (ITV1 analogue has moved to BBC TWO analogue old slot).

Yes, the channels listed at the top of the page will be on in two weeks. You will only get the HD channels if you have a Freeview HD (DVB-T2) set, however.

Don't want to appear pedantic, but as I have most BBC channels,... where is BBC2?

My TV searches for all digital/analogue channels, but BBC2 is nowhere to be seen.

22 on digital, but only 3 on analogue.

Puzzled!

Rob: BBC2 Analogue has been switched off. ITV1 is currently on the old BBC2 channel (C28). The BBCA multiplex, which carries all the Standard Definition BBC channels is now transmitted on C25, the old ITV1 frequency.

On 21st September, the other analogue signals will be switched off, and the D3+4 and BBCB multiplexes will begin transmission.

Rob: You should have BBC2 as one of the 22 digital channels.

I am unable to get Sky News on my Wharfdale Freeview integrated Tv for some time now.

I have 2 TVs and two aerials on the roof. I receive all the available channels on the goodmans tv which has a set top box and is at the back of the house.

The Whardale tv is nearer the front, has its own aerial.
I receive all the channels as on the other tv EXCEPT SKY NEWS. Channel 82 is not even showing.

Please help.

Many thanks.

I have no signal at all/tried retuning since 21/9/11 no success. (I have sky tv which is ok.) but if i try to retune my tv+1tv upstairs to watch without going via sky they have no signal. they are both brand new tvs with freeview built in. yesterday i managed to get bbc 2 and itv but now they have disappeared. the ariel is on the roof and ok.
I need to be able to watch without going through sky as sometimes someone else is watching a different channel so we have to watch via normal tv.

You say: 'no problems at Wharfedale transmitter'. But in fact there is a big problem affecting many Freeview viewers in different parts of Ilkley, in that the BBC MUX is intermittently off air for long periods. (Other channels are OK). On 28 Sept there was a 5-hr gap, and today all BBC channels are only occasionally viewable. Message is always 'poor signal' or 'no signal', and the trouble always seems to start around 13.00 hrs. Please investigate. My postcode is LS29 9NG.
