Just setting up my new HD Humax.
Not seeing any signal on:
C35 (PSB3/BBCB)
C37 (COM5/Arqa)
C55. (COM7)
I didn't get any signal on my previous Humax.
Be interested to know if I need to be doing something different, as Freeview say for my address I should be receiving these mux's from Waltham.

Roland:
Hi. Waltham is on Planned Engineering this week (again!) which may well have a bearing on this, but if you provide a full postcode we can look at that predicted reception and may be able to offer further advice.

anybody else having intermittant signal loss on com7 from this transmitter?

John Pykett:
Your intermittent loss is most likely due to current weather conditions. Unfortunately temperature inversion/tropospheric ducting is accompanying the high pressure weather system causing signals from distant transmitters in Europe or the UK to affect reception of wanted signals. COM7 can be more vulnerable than some multiplexes due to operating as an SFN and at lower power than most of the other multiplexes, but it is very much depends on location. Freeview and the BBC have current warning about potential intermittent disruption to reception. Do NOT retune.
There are no faults or Planned Engineering currently listed for Waltham.

Does Waltham transmitter have engineering works being undertaken this week as all Muxes are liable to pixilation and or loss of signal? I am aware that engineering works were undertaken last week, but reception was fine at the weekend.

Michael Brown:
As mentioned in the post before yours, there are no faults or Planned Engineering currently listed for Waltham and IIRC the last time any were listed it was 2 weeks before Christmas.
Unfortunately reception is very variable across your postcode and it's not one of the best places for Freeview reception according to the predictors.
The post before your also details the current problem.

Dave: Take a look in the 800 number range, your TV or box may have dumped it there if it couldn't work out what to do with it while retuning. Have you lost any other channels such as Dave Ja Vue, Yesterday or DMAX which are also on the COM6 multiplex?
