For the last two weeks or so I have not been able to receive Freeview HD channels 101-105. Previously have not had any problems. I have checked manual tuning on Ch 58 and 35 and am getting no signal. Freeview HD channels 106-114 are all fine.
Has something changed?

Lloyd Jenkins:
The services on COM7 and COM8 are on channels 55 and 56. Try tuning to those and uyou should get the HD services and others,

Lloyd Jenkins: I think MikeP was looking at the wrong listing. According to Digital UK, HD services from Waltham are currently: PSB3 on UHF channel 58 (moving to 35 early next year), COM7 on UHF 31 (moving to 55 early next year) and COM8 on UHF 56. Freeview channels 101-105 are all broadcast on PSB3 so UHF channel 58 is the one to check for signal strength and quality. There are engineering notices showing from earlier this month, but as no one else is reporting a problem it's unlikely that anything is wrong at the transmitter.

Please note that the frequencies listed on the main part of this page are mostly incorrect, and have been for quite a few months now.
For example, BBC1 East Midlands is C49 (698.0MHz), NOT C32 (562.0 MHz) as shown on this page

We regular contributors usually suggest using the Digital UK Coverage Checker with your post code. That website is maintained by the operators of the transmitters, or on their behalf, so is the most accurate source. This independent website is maintained occasionally by the owner, Briantist.

Hi MikeP,
Regardless of where the information comes from I can confirm that it's not correct for the Waltham transmitter. We are still using: 26, 29, 31, 37, 49, 54, 56, 57 and 58. The "700Mhz clearance" has not happened for us yet and the proposed new multiplexes are not active.
Regards

Look at the Digital UK Coverage Checker for the true current channels being used at Waltham. That website is operated by the organisation that operates the transmitters so they know for certain what channels are being used currently and planned for future use. They have always been correct and reliable.
According to them, Waltham currently uses 49, 54, 58, 29, 37, 57, 31 and 56.

Having checked the information provided directly with the transmitter operators (Arqiva) and with Digital UK. there is no difference between the information you are giving and that which I quoted fro Digital UK's website. Both our lists give exactly the same channel numbers - just in a different order. So Digital UK's information is exactly correct as is mine and yours.
We should both include channel 26 as that is the local multiplex.

The channels/multiplexes you have directly listed above (see example image) are: 26, 29, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 55 and 56, which is incorrect.

As mentioned previously post, currently the correct channels/multiplexes are: 26, 29, 31, 37, 49, 54, 56, 57 and 58.
This is my transmitter. I scan the multiplexes manually so I know exactly what they are!

Yes, that list at the top of the page is "incorrect" as pointed out by MikeP in a post immediately prior to yours on the 7th October which you'd appeared to have read by your response! In that prior post and since, in reply to your post, MikeP has referred to the DigitalUK site which has accurate and correct listings (as per your list) as DigitalUK are the responsible authority for publishing the information on behalf of OFCOM and Arqiva. I guess you didn't look at it, eg. see About us | Freeview where you will also see details of some upcoming reception changes and retune events.
For a more accurate prediction of reception and changes at your location, you need to put your postcode into About us | Freeview
