Your information on Saorview transmitters in the republic of Ireland seems to have been corrupted with tv station information from UK transmitters. e.g. Three Rock transmitter (serving greater Dublin area transmits RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4, RTE Jnr, RTE News Now, E3 and RTE1 +1. It does not carry any BBC channels. As far as I know the same is true for all Saorview transmitters.
I hope this info is of some value

Liam: Yes, there is still a little work to do on the Saorview pages. The channel image shown are just a placeholder that displays when there is no information in the database.

Emlyn Jones from Rhiw on the Lleyn penninsula in north wales. Soarview reseption here is very strong from Three rock Kupure and MT leinster. SV1 from Three rock changes on the 10 of June from channel 54 to 30 and Mt Leinter on 24 of october from ch 45 to ch 23 this will help us as channel 45 from Mt Leinster causes severe interfearance and the los of one MUX from Precely in this area.

It would be very interesting to have a full explanation of why Three Rock TV Transmitter was changed from Channel 54 to 30.
I understand that the S F N of both Kippure and Three Rock would make the signal more robust using the Irish standard.
Obviously,this was not the case!

In the West Mids,The Wrekin,Bromgrove,Lark Stoke, all operate as S F N,as yet i have not heard of any issues.
The obvious advantage of this means other frequencies are free'd up

Addendum: And to eliminate CCI from Winter Hill in lift conditions. This is also why Newcastle NI repeater is being boosted to 800W post DSO.
