We live in Cannock Staffordshire and always had a really good signal using boosters from the Wrekin transmitter until a couple of weeks ago. A few channels on our main TV are saying there is no signal, but also our TV in the bedroom using a Freeview box has lost all channels and has no signal strength at all, that's 0%. So something must have changed.

Paul Parkes: The is no recent engineering work showing for The Wrekin transmitter. Have you checked that your amplifier is still powered on and functioning?

K Carless : There are no faults reported with The Wrekin transmiter and since no one else is reporting any problem I doubt your TV has been individually targeted by any hackers. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted signal strength and where you are in relation to the transmitter etc.

Hi, I have retuned my tv and showing good signal strength at TF1 postcode, but all ITV related channels, 3,4,5, andLl the +1 variants of these are badly pixelated. I have checked with family in the SY1 post code and the problem is there also.

Currently getting garbled/no reception on muxes 23 and 41 off the Wrekin transmitter. This is when tested off 2 different aerials.

David, Merv and Andy:
Please provide a full post code, a partial is of not use. Only then can we contributoirs see what the expected reception conditions are like at your location.
Retuning was a complete waste of time as you've now lost many of the chennels you originally had.
Please check all the aerial connections, including any plugs and sockets by unplugging and refitting.
Than check what channels you have. Manually tune any missing ones to the correct channels for the transmitter in use. Find the channels by putting your post code into the Digital UK Coverage Checker and scrolling down the appropriate listing.
