Why are we not going to receive the full spectrum of digital TV cannells on the Bournes Transmitter. We pay the same licence fee as your other customers.

A Parratt: Simply because the three missing multiplexes are purely for commercial interests and which none of wishes to pay for, the licence fee obviously not covering these.

If you live on the Bourne side of the Rigeway you can normally pick up the full spectrum of Freeview channels from Crystal Palace or Guildford transmitters. By joining the 2 aerials together, this will then give London and Southern regions on a Freeview search. Then tell the equipment to favour the southern region and you will get southern channels on 1 and 3 plus all the ones missing from the Bournes Transmitter on the rest of the allocated numbers in the guide.

The Bournes Transmitter is now transmitting DTV on channel 57 with 10 TV and 11 Radio. The other channels will be in 2 weeks time.

Colin Appleyard: Never. See:

Perhaps you may be able to receive the Commercial (COM) channels from Crystal Palace, if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, there will be too much interference from Rowridge transmitter which also broadcasts on those channels.

Hannington could also be possible in Lower Bourne. It was when it was analogue!
