Roger Curnow: Are you using Freeview received via an aerial or Freesat received via a satellite dish? If you have both and neither are working then you have two separate problems. There is a recent engineering notice showing that the Redruth transmitter was off air for around 20 minutes 2 days ago but nothing since (and that wouldn't affect Freesat anyway). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

What is happening to my TV signal at 7.00 pm (now 8.00 pm BST) every day?
I get a 'No Signal' at this time every day, lasting for a few seconds, followed by intermittent picture breakup until approx 7.04. This has been going on for months now, and is very frustrating.

Tony Collins: If it's happening at the same time every day, the most likely explanation is that something operating on a timer in your home (or a near neighbour) is causing electrical interference.

Hello we run a holiday park at Bovisand (postcode PL9 0AA)
There are approx. 100 holiday units here each with an individual Arial.
Across the board we are getting complaints about the weak signal it seems there is little or no bbc and itv is intermittent , the signal was reasonable for the last few years but there is something different now , has the signal strength weakened? is the relay at rame head having work , and /or what would the cost of a relay being installed here ???(future planning )
Thank you
James

Post code TR8 5AG. Aerial on the roof.
Over the past week we have not been able to view a few freeview channels including channel 81 as the picture is bad or no picture and the picture is also frozen. Before this we never had problem
I have retuned several times including a factory reset, turned off the power and removed the aerial but still no luck.
We have also contacted the freeview help line but they could not help.
Any ideas please.

Ian Grimshaw:

Having checked the expected reception at your location, see Coverage Checker - Detailed View I suspect you may have a poor connection in your aerial cables. So please check all the cables for any signs opf damage or deterioration. Unplug all the coaxial plugs/sockets and refit them. Then retune manually using the channe numbers for Redruth shown on the page I have quoted.

The Sky channels PickTV, Challenge and Sky News have no listings in the Freeview programme guide from about 7.00am next Monday 17th June 2019 onwards. (I'm tuned to the Redruth transmitter.) What's going on? Anybody know? Are the Sky Freeview channels going offline or is it time for a retune?

Derek Black: I'm seeing the same lack of EPG data for Sky's channels on Freeview. It's probably just an error preventing the data getting through. I very much doubt that they're leaving and no retune has been announced.
