Tracey Iceton: TS21 covers a wide area, we need a full postcode (or one from a nearby shop, pub, school, church etc) to be able to see your predicted coverage.

Tracey Iceton: Pontop Pike is predicted to have a strong signal at your location, however you may need to turn your aerial around as Pontop Pike is only a few degrees off being in the opposite direction to Bilsdale, although having said that you may get lucky and be able to pick up enough signal off the back of the aerial. Try manual tuning on UHF channels 39/42/45/32/34/35 if you don't get anything from an automatic retune.

Lynne Vickers:
I'm afraid we need some more information to advise. How long has this been happening?
We need a full postcode to look at predicted reception at your locale.
There's currently no Planned Engineering or Faults listed that I can find, but recent weather conditions might have had an impact. Did you retune at all whilst you had bad reception?

I am having problems receiving channel 51 Great Christmas Movies. Family members say they are receiving it , however I cannot.
All other channels are received with a strong signal?

Michael Francis:
Which multiplexes (and transmitters) you may receive will depend upon location.
Most of the "Great" channels were moved to Local multiplexes by the then owners Sony back in July 2019.
See Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview for which channels are carried on which multiplexes.
Local multiplexes are only transmitted at lower power on a small number of main transmitters serving mainly large urban areas with signals beamed in those directions. The Local multiplex at Pontop Pike is beamed easterly towards Newcastle and Sunderland areas.
We need a full postcode to advise on the predicted reception in your locale.
