Will Ogbourne St George be transmitting all freeview channels in the future?
I am still attempting to obtain the best reception and optimum channels in Swindon SN4 OHY utilising a wideband aerial currently in vertical polarisation.
Advise and help in setting up appreciated.

rob: No, this is a "Freeview Light" public service transmitter.

This is your best transmitter, and to be honest, your reception is going to get worse not better.

I suggest you switch to Freesat, where you will get many more channels.

OK, so how about the other transmitters? Oxford for example.
Though I may not get all the channels right now once DSO has completed and power at its optimum I should get all of them, right?
Thankyou for your advise.

rob: No, sorry, you won't ever get a signal from any other transmitter, that's why I said to use Freesat.

John - You should receive all the UK channels that are broadcast on an FTA (Free to air) basis - ie:- ALL the SD channels including the regional variations from the BBC ITV Channel4 and 5 (not 5+ or 5USA). You should also get a good selection of others eg:- CBS Reality etc and international news channels etc. - You won't get SKY subscription channels.- It is possible to buy legitimate subscription Sports/entertainment packages for this receiver in the UK from other European Broadcasters with English Audio, but you would need to upgrade your reception equipment ie:- your dish etc to do so.
