Me too! am getting really fed up as can't find anyone to help and it is ONLY BBC stations. Does anyone have a telephone number for anyone? There is no notification of work on the transmitter so am completely at a loss. have rung the BBC local station in Brighton, no other reports. Have rung the Argus, no other reports. Help!

I have contacted the BBC Radio and TV reception people and they say that this is a known fault and that work is being done to fix it. They could not give me any indication of how long this would take

I have just been in touch with the Radio and TV Investigation Service, who are aware of the problem, engineers are looking into it and hopefully it will be resolved soon(?).
Hope this helps, meanwhile classic is very soothing

I live in Telscombe Cliffs, and also lost or partially lost BBC DAB reception yesterday morning (Wednesday 31 July). I lost the signal completely on two DBA radios upstairs but get "bubbly" reception on a DAB radio downstairs, which dies completely after a few minutes. The Radio and Television Investigation Service website says that "Listeners may experience temporary loss of reception" because of high pressure weather conditions. But haven't we had those conditions for a few weeks now? So why should the problem only crop up yesterday and not before?

Well well! BBC DAB reception appears to have been restored. Great! I can now listen to the test match on DAB.

Newhaven

Has anybody noticed over the past few days that through the Newhaven transmitter, we can now receive FILM 4 (Channel 15) which was certainly not available a couple of weeks ago when I had to do a retune. Also, 302 for a while became 308 and now, after yesterday's retune, it has become 302 again. 302/308 don't bother me, but the addition of FILM 4 has been greatly welcome. Is the "Light" transmission on the Newhaven transmitter likely to add any more channels? In the past, when there has been a change, there has been a notice on the TV advising a retune. Why did this not happen when FILM 4 came into the remit? My son's set-top box automatically retunes when necessary, but our TV does not, so it would be good to know if and when another channel appears.
